I’m a tech and computer science lover all the way, highly specialised in the systems enginieering and IT area, and more particularly in virtualisation and cloud based solutions, which as lead me to get certified as Solutions Architect Associate in .

I consider myself a very proactive person, eager to learn something new everyday and always with an idea in my mind to be developed.

My Role here is system management both Windows and Linux based, MS SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle databases in our own local datacenter, being a RIPE member. All these duties are related to virtualisation, networking, backups, support to developments and access control systems.

System monitoring of all installed base here is based on Icinga (Nagios fork), implementing Grafana, tailor made Linux and Python scripts to watch any needed service with custom warnings via email, push services or Telegram bots.

I did the migration from physical servers to virtual ones into an environment with iSCSI storage and virtualisation platforms like MS Hyper-V, Xen Server and VMware vSphere.

Currently also migrations from our data center towards cloud based services and OVH. The design of our new platform (IAM, VPV, Security Groups, EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53…) has been made with Terraform in a dynamic approach (data sources, modules, variables, templates and workspaces) using remote state and versioning.

In order to interact with several services APIS I’ve specialised myself in Linux and Python scripting, feg managing Security Groups or OVH Firewall, updating different rules based in IP change via Linux Cron.

I’m highly specialised in Access Control and Ticketing systems, their implementation and development of both its hardware and software, online sales channels, customer data oriented to loyalty systems, and payment solutions. The expertise in this area has been acquired internationally over several projects successfully implemented in Argentina, Chile and Andorra as well as the Spanish Ski and Mountain market.

All of the above was initially based in Ski Resorts & Mountain business and it’s been growing towards leisure & events market as well.

I’m also experienced in iOS oriented Objective-C .

  • Setup, configuration and startup of a Windows Server domain for Aragón employees, with WSUS domain policies and user roles.

  • Setup, configuration and startup of a Windows Server domain for Aragón teachers, with WSUS domain policies and user roles.

  • Setup, configuration and startup of a Smoothwall 3 firewall for network security.

  • Setup, configuration and startup of a web and mail server with Linux CentOS.

  • Setup, configuration and startup of Acronis in all classrooms of a school for a quick an convenient maintenance.

  • Planning, development and startup of an Access database for training management in Aragón. Database Is fully visual, with forms, queries, reports, label printing and code bars for storage.

  • Planning an internal development of Aragón new PHP Website, with an inner tool for managing students trainings and courses.

  • Research over a remote training / education platform based in web 2.0.

  • Setup, configuration and development of Windows Server with Sharepoint and Exange deployments.

  • Planning & development of a VPN for merging all three Aragón provinces in one server.

    During this stage I was in charge of all computer and network related services, such as Hotel to Hotel VPN, networking, cybersecurity, support and hardware repairs, Software remote support via Ultra VNC / Radmin, server management (Windows and Linux), wireless LANs from all hotels, Voice over IP, and phone centrals.

    Some of the development projects here were:

  • Zenit loyalty club development.

  • Design of a new online reservation manager concept for own webshop.

  • Setup of all networking solutions, hardware & software, for six new hotels.

  • VPN deployment as the beginning of the technical change.

  • Installation of the new hotel management software.

  • Creation and management of all Hotel’s wifi networks.

    Interests

    I love the World Makers Organization, specially developing my own projects based on Raspberry Pi which is a fascinating device, some of the self made projects I’ve achieved are:

  • Photoboot: A Raspberry Pi serves a website wich loads and shows pictures taken from a Reflex camera via USB, and controls a polaroid Bluetooth wireless printer. The whole system is used from an iPad connected to the same wireless network as the Raspberry Pi. This was done with PHP, Javascript and Linux Scripting.

  • Home Automation: A Raspberry Pi controls all home automation via Home Assistant trough a Xiaomi gateway with several sensors and surveillance cameras. Scenes, alarms and monitoring are achieved in Home Assistant. YAML, Python Scripting and Linux Scripting have been used for this purpose.

  • 3D Printers: Several projects printed with a 3D Creality Ender-3 Pro Printer controlled with a Raspberry Pi via OctoPrint.

  • Video Games: A Raspberry Print with Lakka installed is running emulators of several 90’s video games… the good old times!.


    • I’ve published some Alexa apps based in Phyton Flask framework, doing web scrapping over Zaragoza’s public data such as railway and bus time schedules, public bikes availability or pollen levels.

    I’ve developed apps for iOS based in Objective-C for showing data collected via webs crapping trough a private webservice done with Python Flask.

    I’m also interested in Cryptocurrencies and all the development and high end technology behind the scene for every blockchain, I also love to experiment with masternodes and cli for several crypto currencies.

    I’m a sports guy and into running right now, I strongly believe it helps to keep a clear active mind.
